Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the provision of services by Apex Standard (“Company”) to the client (“Client”).
By engaging Apex Standard for services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
Apex Standard provides custom website design and development services for service-based businesses.
Project scope, deliverables, and timelines are defined during direct communication prior to project commencement.
2. Payment Structure
Standard Website Investment:
- $1,200 one-time fee
- 50% due prior to project start
- 50% due upon completion and prior to final file transfer
Preferred In-State Client Rate (Florida-based businesses):
- $1,000 one-time fee
- 50% due prior to project start
- 50% due upon completion
Payments are issued via invoice and processed through PayPal.
Work will not begin until the initial payment is received.
Final files and ownership will not be transferred until full payment is received.
Initial payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
3. Project Scope & Revisions
Services are limited to the scope agreed upon before development begins.
Reasonable revisions are included within the agreed scope. Additional requests outside original scope may require additional fees.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide necessary content and materials
- Respond in a timely manner
- Review deliverables promptly
Delays in communication may extend project timelines.
5. Ownership
Upon full payment:
- The Client receives full ownership of the completed website files.
- Apex Standard retains the right to display the project in its portfolio.
Until full payment is made, all work remains property of Apex Standard.
6. No Ongoing Maintenance
Apex Standard provides one-time website development services.
Ongoing updates, hosting management, maintenance, or marketing services are not included unless separately agreed upon.
7. Limitation of Liability
Apex Standard shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Third-party hosting failures
- Misuse of the website after delivery
Liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
9. Acceptance
Payment of the initial invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
